SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

Activities

Activities are an important way we challenge students at St. John’s School.  Many of these activities are faith-based.

During the school year, some of the things our students take part of include, but are not limited to:

  • Catholic Schools Week
  • End of Year School Picnic
  • Field Trips
  • Grandparents Day
  • Make a Difference Day
  • Missoula Children’s Theater – coordinated with the School District of Edgar every other year.
  • Swim Lessons
  • Walk for Virtues

Outside of school, students compete against other North East Rural Region (NERR) 4 schools.  Other schools in our Region include St. Anthony in Athens; St. Mary in Marathon; St. Paul in Mosinee; St. Joseph in Stratford.  The events they compete against each other in are:

  • Quiz Bowl (January)
  • Spelling Bee (February)
  • Forensics (April)

Special education services for students with some learning disabilities are available through our partnership with the School District of Edgar.  We work closely with the faculty there to ensure successful student learning.  Please contact the Principal with questions.
